Role
i) Develop and maintain the backend of Thimblerr's AI-led tech platform using FastAPI and Python
ii) Build and enhance the frontend of the platform using ReactJS and Javascript
iii) Design system architecture and overall technical strategy for the product
iv) Write and ship production code which would become foundation for the future
v) Define domain specific data models, design and build backend APIs as well as web applications
vi) Manage end to end development, testing, deployment and monitoring of software using automation tools
vii) Balance time between architecture design, coding and mentoring other team members in a way to create force multiplication
viii) Mentor and guide other engineers on the team
ix) Closely work with the founders to build technology leading to value creation
x) Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the platform with other systems
Other Details
i) You have 3-6 years of experience consistently delivering high impact backend systems/ services and web applications.
ii) You have proven credentials of work at organizations known for their large-scale applications and have a solid educational grounding in tech
iii) You have an expertise in backend development technologies using AWS cloud infrastructure and services, object oriented programming (like Java) or NodeJS or Python (FastAPIs).
iv) You have a good understanding of various storage technologies and are able to decide when to choose No-SQL vs relational databases vs ElasticSearch.
v) You are good at web development and are familiar with various front end technologies including web frameworks, Javascript, HTML, CSS as well as ReactJS
vi) You are excited about big, technical challenges, but at the same time are also about being very close to the business and our go-to-market strategies
vii) You are able to navigate scrappiness vs robustness during product designing & building stages
viii) You are always looking to learn and grow. You are curious about new possibilities with new challenges and act fast to explore them.
ix) You are high on ownership. You put customer interest first, act on behalf of the entire company, and never say ‘that’s not my job’.
