You Should Have
i) Prior experience in web design industry (preferred, but not required)
ii) Beginner level knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery
iii) Understanding of web design and e-commerce ecosystems
iv) An ability to multi-task on multiple projects and tasks
v) Highly organized with great attention to detail
vi) A positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly
vii) Excellent written and spoken English
viii) The availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST
ix) The ability to adapt to a diverse and multicultural environment
x) Passion to build a startup
xi) Reliable transportation if working in-house
xii) A reliable workstation with a fast computer, microphone and speakers, reliable internet and power if working remotely
Your Duties and Tasks
i) Transforming complex PSD layouts into pixel-perfect presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates
ii) Creating responsive website designs
iii) Building websites with WordPress/BigCommerce/Shopify
iv) Working with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks to create images optimized for the web
v) Working with version control systems such as GIT / SVN
vi) Working under tight deadlines
vii) Handling multiple projects at the same time
viii) Producing high-quality work with a strong focus on detail
